It is the year of the legging! We get questions all the time on where to find cool prints for our boys. Little Four is nailing it and we thought we’d share with you in addition to wishing you a happy weekend!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend, everyone! We are high on life and how incredibly amazing and strong those who bravely sent submissions in for Adoption Week. We are pleased as can be with how supportive and compassionate you, our readers, have been to these families. We are proud of this little space and we are committed to our cause, and are so lucky to have such a great support system around us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I was astounded by the beauty and grace of the stories presented by these adoption stories and the families. I’ve always thought that adoption was the most awesome gift as I personally believe that every life is worth protecting and cherishing. I’ve not experienced anything quite like this personally but for quite a few years I thought I’d never have a child due to health problems unrelated to fertility; i was depressed and mourned the loss of children I’d never have. I was also on medications called teratogenic; like thalidomide they cause severe birth defects so pregnancy was not even an option. And because of my health, I’d never have been approved for adoption either. I am probably as close as someone can get to understanding what it’s like without actually bring there. I was brought to tears several times by reading their stories. My health improved, i got off those nasty drugs, i now have 3! children and I can’t even imagine having to hand one of them over because I wasn’t in a position to give them a good life. The women and girls who make the decision to allow their babies to be adopted are the bravest for not only making the decision to let their babies live but letting them live with families who can raise them so both the baby and the birth mom can thrive. Thank you for showcasing these stories of love and life and hope. Best wishes for those waiting to adopt. I hope they get a baby or child to share their life with soon.

I just had to say that I loved reading all the adoption stories. I have no personal experience with adoption but as a mother of an amazing little 18 month old boy and having recently had a miscarriage I was so moved by the stories of loss and the incredible families that were created. Absolutely fantastic series and it would be amazing to here updates from the adoption hopefuls.
