There are so many methods to feeding children, each of us has a different way, and we’re sure you all do as well. One thing that has worked for each of us though, is the sectioned food plate. It’s a good visual reminder to create more variety in our kids’ meals and it makes it really easy to see what our kids have and haven’t eaten. The constant meal time negotiations are a little bit easier when you can say “Take three bites from each square!” It’s a nice reminder for not only us, but babysitters and other family members who feed our kids when we’re away, too. We love these Replay brand ones, but as always, we love a good DIY, so here’s one you can make at home!
Using our trusty Pebeo Porcelaine marker and a simple white plate you can easily create the meal selection of your choice. Make sure and bake the plate once your design is complete to make it food safe, and have fun!
