dinnertime chart

Is dinnertime rough for any of you, or is it just us? A complaint free meal is a rarity! While we have a good range of eaters, starting with Quinn the salmon and quinoa lover, down to Hayes the “will you take that green thing (finely minced speck of herb) off my chicken?” Even then, the best eaters have off days, and so when we spotted a dinner chart made by Robin (see it here) we begged her to let us create a printable for ourselves and in turn you Small Fry readers!
New Food Chart

Robin’s chart covered all the dinnertime bases, from trying new foods (happily!) to sitting without whining. We threw in clearing your plate for good measure and engaging in conversation for good measure! Once you fill in a row, you get a prize, and we are firm believers in a little bribery every now and again!

I absolutely love this idea! When my husband and I have kids well definitely be implementing this! I am all about eating healthy and trying new things, but I have a feeling that our kids may not be the same ha ha! Thanks for sharing!

I love this dinner time chart! I might use it for myself. Trying new foods is not just challenging for kiddos. Might not have as much of a problem with the crying/complaining section 🙂
