While we wait the long 40+ weeks for our new arrivals, creating a space for them to rest, play, and of course house their substantial amount of stuff, is our favorite way to pass the time! There are so many routes you can go with the design of that special space so we wanted to share our favorites from reader submissions, and of course, our “LIVE” pin board which is brimming with inspiration.
First up is the best of the web for quiet and serene spaces. Simple and neutral color palettes, timeless organic design, and soft decor elements.
(this whole tour is a stunner, see them all here!)
Lay Baby Lay (killer inspiration resource!)
Sissy & Marley (design firm that will knock your socks off!)
Design & Form (RIP!)
and one from the SF archives! With mazing tips by designer Jodee Harris.
Check back for the next post which takes a wildly different approach!

January 13, 2015 at 9:50 amhello!love all these gorgeous nurseries! i am shopping for my baby to be and for my oldest son’s big boy room. i love the bottom image with blue ombre rug. the link paired with it is the same link above (domain home) and doesn’t link to small fry archives. is there an alternate link that would have the source for the rug listed? thanks so much!
