friendsgiving

Nicole threw the most lovely Friendsgiving and true to form, Small Fry bullied her into sharing! It’s just part of the gig – if you have a good idea, your friends will make you publish it to the Internet. 😉  What we loved so much about this event was that although it took prep and work, smart choices simplified it in lots of ways. Ready to check it out? Photo Nov 07, 7 12 48 PMWe have the best local caterer, Mountain Vista Catering who delivers amazing menus each day for 5 or more people. Our friends have used them for several events (even down to just a simple play date) and every meal has been fantastic! Even better it’s super inexpensive so instead of having everyone put a dish together, Nicole had them pick which meal they wanted for themselves and it showed up just before the event! The two options for this dinner were a turkey ciabatta sandwich with cranberry mayo and greens, and then also a salad with butternut squash, turkey and maple pecans. Each order came with the most amazing pumpkin soup. Nicole had bottled drinks and desserts for everyone and we were all so satisifed. If cooking adds more stress to your parties instead of less, Mt. Vista Catering is the way to go!Photo Nov 07, 7 10 16 PMWhile the adults chatted the kids bobbed for apples, did a hands free donut eating contest, red rover, and ram through the rows of orchards. Happy Friendsgiving, everyone!
