Raleigh’s Nursery

By Emily.

I haven’t updated the nursery in six years, so it was definitely time for a refresh! Hayes was born and then Cal came along sixteen months later and I honestly wasn’t ready to part with it that quick! Then they started sharing room and there wasn’t any reason to do much to the nursery until Raleigh! All I wanted for the space was to be serene and calming. So we painted it the lightest bone white and some added mixed metallic touches. Gold and copper mostly!Raleigh NurseryAdded a Sputnik light fixture, a new grey recliner (mine sold out, but this one is comparable):Raleigh Nursery And some textural elements like the fur pillow and the original pine paneling from Hayes’ nurseryRaleigh Nursery Plants (cement planter is from GardenAu) and a peace sign from Gilt Groupe forever ago but here’s a semi similar one.Raleigh NurseryI’m obsessed with all of Aden & Anais Indigo dyed line! We have pretty much everything you can get from that line and so of course I loved this Shibori gauze-y curtain too(Sold out but similar here)! I lined them with black out so it gets plenty dark in there. The art is extra sentimental to us, this one below we bought off a painter on the Rive Gauche in Paris! The same day we found out we were pregnant with him! Raleigh NurseryAnother added element we’ve loved is the Wave Switch from adorne by Legrand. It’s so convenient for that new baby stage! You just wave over the black center and it turns on and off!Adorne Giveaway
