Kid Tables are my favorite thing to be in charge of for Thanksgiving. It’s less about having space for all the food and more about entertainment, interaction and excitement. Today I’m sharing a fun Kid Table with our favorite hands-on craft that doubles as the table centerpiece: a gratitude tree! You can find this free printable below – just cut out the leaves and have several on a plate with a pen or marker and let the kids fill the branches up with things they’re grateful for! Washi tape always does the trick, we’ve also used mini clothespins, too!
For this table we teamed up with Pier One Imports to create something fun for the kids. The boys immediately ran to these fun Fall owl vases (stacked and side by side.) Cute and quirky and great pops of color that you can build the rest of the tablescape off of, but also use all year round!
I live for plaid and had to have these plates! They’re salad size so perfect for little mouths and they can handle getting seconds if needed. The woodsy theme marches on with this crazy amazing branch flatware!
My kids were mesmerized by it and were thrilled when I said they were ours and not just for a shoot (#blogkidproblems.) I also love how verstaile they are with the gold and silver mix! They also have copper and silver mix and plain silver.
Burlap always screams Fall and these placemats are a such a steal! And the chambray napkins come in all sorts of Fall shades so you can mix and match or keep things uniform.
Pier One’s whole line of wood servingware is so gorgeous, check it out here. The plate would be beautiful hung on the wall, too!
So who’s is hosting this year? We are happily attending my brother’s dinner this year, but I am sending all my good vibes to you hosts! Happy Thanksgiving!
