Small Fry Home Tours: Johansson Bathrooms

The Johansson’s Modern home tour continues with the bathrooms! There are three in their space and each has it’s own personality! More Home Tours and posts from their home here!

MAIN FLOOR:

On their main floor off you will find the bathroom with the most risks. And the most femininity! It can be hard to know where to play that up when you have mostly boys.

Obviously the main attraction of this bathroom is the wallpaper which Rashelle found on this Etsy shop – ColorRay Decor. Its a peel and stick and it was actually pretty easy to do. A lot easier than other types I have tried! This shop is FULL of killer prints. I will share a bunch more at the bottom of this post! Rashelle stuck to one wall so it wouldn’t feel like the pattern was closing in on you in the smaller space. Layered hand towels, and a patterned tile keep the bold feeling of this space going!Modern Home Tour Modern Home Tour

BOYS BATHROOM:

The circle rugs are the perfect pops of color and function, and Rashelle’s DIY art know-how add a graphic pop and a friendly reminder. Moms with boys will know. 😉Modern Home TourModern Home Tour

Rugs: Ikea (still in stock!) // Shower Curtain: Room Essentials Target — Similar: Schoolhouse Electric, Society 6, Target actual curtains, put a waterproof liner behind! Or this windowpane style is awesome, too! // DIY “Flush” print + Ikea frame. Vanity Lighting:

MASTER BATH:

Behind pocket doors you will find their master bath! With a big freestanding tub, against a sheet metal backsplash and a brass light fixture. Turn each corner to find vanities and a shower / toilet.Modern Home Tour Modern Home Tour

  • […] As with any design application, think about the impact you’re going for in the space. if you select a bold and colorful pattern, consider only doing an accent wall. If your pattern is more subtle and neutral, you can cover more space such as the entire kitchen or bathroom. I love this bold and unique bathroom application from Small Fry. […]
