fall 2021 outfit ideas

After doing a little research about Fall 2021 Trends this image adequately describes what I saw. Just. a lot. of beige. It’s like all anyone could come up with was some monochromatic layering. Which don’t get me wrong, LOVE it. But I felt a little bored and uninspired. SO! I came up with an easy equation for creating a Fall 2021 look that you can tailor to fit your favorite silhouettes, color palettes and personal style. READY?

1. PANTS WITH INTEREST. Pattern, texture, color, volume, symmetry, play with it all! I am going to be alternating between a pull on wide leg cropped trouser, plaid trousers, a split hem flare jean, wide leg cropped jeans, and a perfectly tailored wide leg trouser.
2. LOUNGEWEAR ITEM. This could be a sweat set, a hoodie, a graphic sweatshirt, it wouldn’t be Pandemic times without some lounge. Also Hailey Bieber’s stylist has had some homeRUNS lately!
3. OVERSIZED OUTERWEAR. Its everywhere and even buying one piece of oversized outerwear will bring you into 2021. 
4. My personal golden rule of styling is to try out the fickle trends by interpreting them in shoe and accessory categories. You could have the same white tee and jeans for 15+ years and update them with on-trend shoes and accessories (think sunglasses, bags, hats, jewelry) and no one would ever notice. How do I know this? Because I do this. 

Now, it doesn’t have to be ALL of these things at once. Pick one you like and give it a go. It also doesn’t have to be flashy. Keep things subtle with an all black look! Bought both these pieces and will be wearing ASAP.And another one for good measure:
