spring breakers

Sponsored by Amazon. T-Minus 10 days until Spring Break. Who’s counting? I am. We need a vacation SO bad and somehow we lucked out and Russ is coming along! Typically the boys’ school break is during his busy season, so I’ll take the kids solo somewhere. This year he lined up the work on the house so he could sneak away, too! The poor guy has been putting in 15 hour days for months now and there’s no sign of stopping until the house is finished. As hard as manual labor is on a body, being a mom solo all … Read more

christmas cards 2017

Now that cards are all mailed, I can share our Artifact Uprising winner! The gold foil “Merry” won by a landslide which was perfect because I was rooting for it ūüėČWe added little write-ups for each family member on the back and paired with that charcoal envelope – it turned out so pretty since gray was a big color in our outfits. We pulled photos from a session with Brooke Palmer in Corona Del Mar. She was so amazing. If you need a photographer in Southern California, we loved her!! I’ll share more from the session below! This photo is … Read more

Alamo Travel Guide for 2018!

In partnership with Alamo. I read somewhere that 80% of our childhood memories are away from home. When I recall my own memories I feel like that is accurate.¬†Of course a loving, safe and home is everything to a kid, but the things that last in their memories are the adventures! It has changed how I save and spend our extra cash.¬†I would rather invest in a new experience over just about anything. So as I embark on this with my family, I am really excited to share that for 2018 I will be part of Alamo’s Scenic Route as … Read more

vermont recap

As promised here is a recap about my trip with Stonyfield to beautiful Vermont! I have been to New York City in the Fall but out in the country on the east coast is a whole different story. SO unreal. Stonyfield took us on a tour of two of the dairy farms they not only get supply from, but actively support and mentor and I loved it more than I can say! They’re also giving a way a month supply of their yogurt on my Instagram @smallfryblog so don’t miss that! Here is the crew we went with, along with … Read more

Traveling with Baby

By Emily in partnership with Ergo. We’ve got Spring Break on the brain and fly miles to burn and so today is all about traveling with baby! I’ve already started using both the new Sophie La Giraffe 360 Carrier and their chic new Anywhere I Go Backpack¬†(available exclusively at¬†Babies R Us¬†until March) but I keep thinking about a solo flight I took with Raleigh and how much easier my life would’ve have been with both. Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana

By Jenna. Back in August we were so privileged to represent Small Fry at the Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic! It was MAGIC. Seriously we felt so blessed to have this opportunity on behalf of SF. We are always looking for ways to vacation with our kids that make it as easy as possible, although we know traveling with kids is never really easy is it? ūüėČWhen we arrived we were met with a green drink (just some fun Nick juice for the kids) and a smile. The staff at this resort was absolutely incredible. SO kind … Read more

FRYday: Emily

I get today’s Fryday solo¬†today, urged by the girls to share about my 10 year anniversary trip to Europe last week with my main squeeze! If you’d like to see, here are a few highlights! This trip was in the works for several months and as we got closer we knew we wanted to unplug for the trip. We both work for ourselves in a handful of businesses and being self-employed sometimes means erratic hours, no days off, and always something to be done. So the trip was 100% a vacation from all that. We deleted social media apps, didn’t … Read more

Worn with last years Zara anorak and orange Ray-Bans. // All black one day with these … Read more
